Do you provide services for daycares or pre-schools?
Just in Time Teachers provide qualified substitutes for early childhood education centers, preschools, and daycares across the Twin Cities region of Minnesota. This includes Montessori, Reggio Emelia, STEM, faith-based child care programs and more.
We do not, however, cover in-home centers at this time.
Does your company complete background study's, along with providing training according to the MN state DHS employee requirements?
How do I request early childhood subs?
To request a sub, you must first become one our partner centers. The process is simple:
- Call or Email
- Receive a contract
- Review, sign, return the contract

Can I request permanent placement if I like a sub?
Yes! Sometimes, a center finds a sub that they believe is a perfect fit for their ongoing needs. When this happens, the center can request a permanent placement, where they will purchase the substitute’s contract.

What areas of Minnesota do you cover?
Just in Time Teachers is proud to provide early childhood education subs across Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the greater Twin Cities metro of Minnesota. If you’re unsure whether that includes your center’s location, feel free to reach out and confirm with our team directly.
What if you can't fulfill my request?
We always do our best to fill as many requests as possible! However, in the event we are unable to find a substitute to fill your request, you will be put on a waitlist.
You will receive an e-mail from our Placement Coordinator informing you that your request is on a waitlist. They will keep you updated regarding your request in the event they are able to find a substitute for you!

At Just in Time Teachers, we’re more than a early childhood center placement agency. We’re a network of educators and centers that provides a wide range of services and resources.
When you’re a part of our network, you’ll receive regular updates, event invites, free resources, and more. We also provide one-on-one consulting for those who need assistance with their organization, structure, curriculum, etc.
